How to get started with SVN by Seyyed Shah

Here is some information on using SVN for team work. The first link is a guide created for another team Java module in the school. The "Normal Usage" section is the most useful for the current project:

http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/internal/courses/team-java/current/basic-svn/

The second link is the reference book that has more detail that may not be covered in the first guide:

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/

All team members should be setup and become comfortable in using SVN. Your contributions to the team project will be assessed based on your submissions to SVN and so all work Must be submitted via SVN. Contact your tutor right away if you have any problems accessing or submitting work to SVN.
