A little bit of guidance on the project report:

This page details the marking scheme we'll be using to grade the reports. It's the same one as the summer project, so you may also want to refer to previous summer project reports as another guide. The library in the School has reports from MSc summer projects stored at the back, by the tables (ask Ceinwen if you're not sure). Remember that this is not a 3 month project, so we don't expect books like those! 20-30 pages is probably a good guide size for your reports.

Feel free (but not obliged) to include diagrams, ERDs, UML, or anything else you may think is useful to illustrate your project. You do NOT need to print out all your code, but you can include small snippets in the report if you want to refer to them.

For further help in writing your reports, this page is a useful guide by Peter Coxhead. Again, it's aimed at summer projects, so not everything will apply as written.

Finally, if in doubt, talk to Martin, your tutor, or your demonstrators. Office hours are open to everyone to chat to Seyyed, Errol, or myself if you have issues or questions, just check the timetable and turn up!
